Warned by doctors that he risks "total hearing loss," AC/DC singer Brian Johnson will discontinue touring, forcing the band to postpone a run of shows that was to include a March 20 stop at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
There was little elaboration this evening from AC/DC's camp, which said in a statement that a guest vocalist will likely be enlisted when the band's Rock or Bust dates are rescheduled for later this year.
Existing tickets will be honored for those new dates, although ticket holders may obtain refunds via their point of purchase.
The Rock or Bust Tour played Detroit's Ford Field in September and picked back up last month for a U.S. arena run.
